The marching band has now won a record breaking 3 grand champion trophies. We are very proud of their hard work and success, but most importantly, they are entertaining audiences as a crowd favorite everywhere we go. Congrats to everyone for an incredible season so far!
Cedar Point Trip
We are a couple weeks away from our state finals and cedar point trip. The main items to note at this point are:
The student hotel fee is due next Thursday. That fee can be paid online or a check made out to the Forest Hills Band Boosters can be submitted to the band directors.
Each student will either need a 2026 Kings Island/Cedar point pass or a purchased ticket for the day of our visit. Links for all of these items can be viewed on our trip page below.
Our newest competitive activity is ready for an exciting second year. This group attends national level competitions and functions as a mini indoor marching band for wind & concert percussion students. Students are highly encouraged to be a part of this exciting music performance opportunity. Visit the website link for all of the information and video examples.
Next Band Booster Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 7th in the THS Band Room 6:30pm.
Fall Fundraiser
The Fall Fundraiser is up and running now through October 15th. This is one of the biggest fundraisers for the Band Programs with all grades 5-12 taking part. Any questions please follow up with Melissa Royse.

Program Ads and Trophy Sponsorships
Signup to sponsor a trophy for the Band Expo is up and there are still a lot of great trophies needing sponsors. If you would like to sponsor as a family, or know a business that would like to sponsor a trophy you can do so easily online.
Program ads are also available. Buying a personal ad for the Band Expo Program is a great way to give your student a personalized shoutout. Order now to secure your spot, we can assist with design. DEADLINE IS 10/8.

Senior Banners
Senior banners are up in the stadiums!!!! The FH Band Boosters ask senior families to help cover the cost - $25 check made payable to Forest Hills Band or use the Booster PayPal Link (include a note stating it is for the senior banner). Checks can be turned in to Mr. Gaal or you can bring it to the Sept. 2 Booster Meeting. Banners will go home with students after the fall season wraps up.
