There are 2 concerts taking place on this night. Our 5-7 bands are performing during the first concert and our 8-12 bands are performing during the second concert. The event is being held at Anderson High School Gym.
Concert 2: Grades 8-12 Student Report Time: 7:00 Student Performances: 7:30-8:30 Attire: Fall Rise Above Shirt. (if a student does not have one, talk with a director)
May 30th Memorial Day Parade
- Current 9-11 students only - Student Report Time: 9:00 @ M.V.C.A school in Newtown. - Parade Begins: 10:00 - Parade Ends: 11:00 @ Moundview Park. Parent pickup is easiest at St. John Fisher Church. - Attire: Gym Shoes, Black Shorts (or other dark color) and Fall Rise Above shirt.
Marching Band Fee
The first marching band fee payment is to be paid online and is due May 27th. We will send out the online payment link later this week.
Marching Band Roster Accuracy
- If you are receiving this email, it means that we have your child on the marching band roster as a participant.
- Once we enter into summer, we begin ordering supplies and creating the competition show for the exact number of students we have on the roster. We rely on parents to help us ensure that if a child is on the roster, it is a strong commitment that we should spend the summer planning for.
Marching Band Calendar
- Band Camp is held at the end of the summer. It is extremely important that students are in attendance to learn all of the information.
- The high school homecoming dates are still being finalized and may impact our Saturday competition schedule dates. The band directors must plan around their chosen dates. This will be finalized by the end of the school year and is determined by the school administration.
The Big Band Bash Online Auction is finally here! It is open for Preview only NOW. It opens for bid on Thursday May 19th at noon and bidding closes at 10pm on Sunday May 22nd.

Thursday May 19th before, during and after Big Band Bash at Anderson. Take the worry out of meal planning for the night so you can enjoy the show. Band Booster Membership Drive for the 2022-23 school year
We are raffling off a one night stay and breakfast for two at the French Lick Resort and Spa. Get “IN” the raffle and get “Involved” in boosters! Sign up and pay the annual dues by the end of May and be entered in the raffle. Want to donate at a higher level? Every additional increment of $25 receives an additional entry. Booster Elections
Booster Members will elect the 2022-2023 Booster Officers during a special meeting on May 31st, 7pm - 8pm. This will take the place of the June meeting. Please join us if you are a member in good standing. And Many thanks to our current officers who have provided leadership to this important organization during challenging times!
