Behind the scenes, we are beginning to make a large amount of creations, orders and plans that are custom created for the exact number of students on our roster. At this point, we are assuming that every student & parent that are on our roster and are receiving these emails, are solidly committed as part of the group for the Fall and beyond. If there is any reason that your child may not be participating as scheduled, it is critical that you communicate with the band directors right away. This week, we are ordering custom uniforms for every student that range between $130-$220 each. We are also getting ready to create the custom marching drill formations that are created to our exact number of students. Every student on our roster has a precise position within those formations. If someone backs out on their commitment after the point of these items being created or ordered, it either wastes money or holds the full group of students and teachers back, as the creations are no longer accurate. We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us to have an exactly accurate roster.
Pay to Participate
Thank you to all that have made the fee payment by the due date. We are still missing that payment for a small group of students. The band directors are reaching out to communicate with those individual parents this week. If you are still needing to make the $175 district pay to participate fee, you can do so via the links below.
We are a month away from our 2 camp weeks. Those weeks of learning are so critical to the success of our group. We know that many have busy schedules so we want to ensure that those dates & times are on everyone's calendar.

Change: The next FHBB meeting is Tuesday August 6th, Turpin HS band room starting at 6:30pm. This is a change of location and time from the last newsletter. Most likely the 2nd week of band camp will be held at Turpin this year due to replacement of the track and the field at Anderson which is not expected to be complete before the start of school.
