We are only a couple weeks from the departure date. There are many critical activities & information that will be communicated during the coming days. Below are a few of the important items.
February 2nd Trip Information Meeting This meeting is open to all parents & students. Our lead tour guide and a few of the band directors will be going over details of the trip. The meeting is 7:00-8:00 in the Turpin band room All chaperones will meet on this date from 6:00-7:00
February 6th Required Rehearsal & Equipment Organizing We are only assembling the group to rehearse together 1 time prior to heading down for a performance in the Magic Kingdom. It is critical that every person is in attendance. The last portion of this rehearsal will be spent organizing all of the equipment by bus. This is very important step to organize bus loading the next day. 5:30-6:30 is Colorguard only 6:30-8:00 is every band student attending the trip
FAQ Document We have created a document that provides answers to many of the questions that have been asked. Please take a look at the document ahead of the information meeting and departure. If you have additional questions that are not answered on this document, please email them to Joe Wesche ahead of the trip meeting. Others may have the same question and we can add them to the FAQ document.
Website hub for information We are placing the important documents on our website page. The final itinerary will be loaded to this page in the coming days
We will need both student and parent volunteers on Saturday, January 28 to make OMEA D14 Solo and Ensemble Contest a success! There are over 600 performances scheduled this year which means there will be many visitors throughout the day. You can sign up below. Questions? Email Mr. Gaal
